disc errors

just got my copy from Amazon, but won't play in either of my DVD players here at the house. Keeps reporting disc error. NTSC on a philips DVD Q50, tried two different players. looks like it's playing on my laptop, but damn, would've loved it to watch it on my TV.

										  - Combustible Celluloid

										  "...this behind-the-scenes documentary

										  - Variety Magazine

"loudQUIETloud is a scream, and easily

										  "The Pixies seem to question,

Pixies to record a NEW ALBUM!

Pixies to record a new album! loudQUIETloud coming in two weeks!
According to NME , Charles Thompson has confirmed the Pixies will start work in January on their first studio album since 1991's Trompe Le Monde. Speaking about the album, Black explained that the band still have a lot of work to do before an album appears. "We're rehearsing in January, if we can persuade Kim to come out of her house," said Thompson . "We offered to go to her but we figured if we book the rehearsals she'll show up. Since we got back together we've played almost everywhere we can. I know we like playing and everyone likes touring together, so to keep doing that and not record anything is kind of like being a county fair band. We don't want to do that, so the only thing we can do is become a vital band again. So it's just a matter of doing it, I guess." Though the Pixies have not recorded a new studio album in fifteen years, they recently released a live DVD, Acoustic: Live in Newport , and the Pixies documentary Loudquietloud: A Film About the Pixies will be released worldwide the week of November 6th.
